District Heights resident Daryl McCall was killed over the weekend following an incident that broke out late on Friday afternoon, police say.

He was found at approximately 7:40 p.m. on Sept. 27 in the 5100 block of Indian Head Highway.

According to a spokesperson from the Prince George's County Police Department, first responders found McCall in a parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

They treated him at the scene, but he succumbed to his injuries. A second person was also found shot and was taken to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

On Tuesday, Oct. 1, investigators released surveillance video of the man taken that night, where he can be seen wearing a dark-colored hat, blue and white jacket, jeans and white sneakers.

The video was taken outside in the location where the shooting occurred shortly before the murder.

No additional information about a motive or possible suspect has been released.

The fatal shooting remains under investigation.
